Shahmir began his career as a Financial Analyst before finding his calling in employee benefits, where he went on to work across different verticals of the industry, from digital benefits platforms and group benefits, to self-funded captive program management. That breadth of experience is what he brings to his role as Strategic Client Manager at All Atlantic Benefits, where he focuses on AAB’s self-funded book of business. Shahmir’s passion lies in cost containment, finding creative, data-driven ways to help employers take control of their healthcare spend without compromising the quality of care their people receive.

Having spent more than a decade in the Greater Boston area, Shahmir recently made the move to Boca Raton, Florida. When he’s not digging into plan performance, you can find him on the pickleball courts, following soccer, or feeding his passion for cars.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
